Maria Vertiz is a composer, producer, and songwriter from Mexico City, Mexico. 

She was awarded best composition at the GEMS Film Scoring Workshop by composers Christopher Young (The Grudge, Spiderman 3), Gary Schyman (Bioshock, Torn) and orchestrator Pete Anthony (Us, The Hunger Games).

Most recently, she has scored the documentary about the legendary Mexican Band, ‘Los Tigres del Norte’ (Amazon Prime), ‘All the Places’ (Netflix), ‘Snag’ (Paramount), and provided additional music on the HBO Original, ‘Unveiled’.

Known for her rhythmic and versatile sound, she has become a go-to producer in Mexico City. She’s collaborated with Niko Rubio (Atlantic), Nicole Zignago (Warner Mexico), Las Villa (Warner Latin), Estevie (Nice Life) and Natalia Lacunza (Universal Spain).

She’s currently working on several feature films and in person artist sessions in LA.
