The Imports are an international writer-producer duo based between Cape Town, South Africa and Los Angeles, consisting of Bubele Booi and David Belshaw. The Imports are extraordinary multi-instrumentalists and their  music spans across a wide range of genres such as Afro-Pop, Alt-Pop, RnB, Electronic with acoustic and  electronic instrumentation.  

They are the first signing to Campfire Songs - a new music publishing company from This Fiction (X Ambassadors, JP Saxe) and Spark Music Group (Teddy Geiger, Dan Romer).  

Their credits include Beyoncé, Tone Stith, Healy, Cautious Clay, Lady Zamar, Manu Worldstar, Nasty C, Lloyiso, NOTD and Will Linley. Most recently, they Executive Produced Tkay Maidza's album Sweet Justice, and have been collaborating with artists such as Ilham, Fridayy, Manana, Pamé, Lloyiso, Adanna Duru, among others. The Imports are multi-instrumentalists and their music spans across a wide range of genres. While their abilities boast a versatile range, The Imports are known for fusing pop sensibilities with their African roots.
